I'm not a theologian. I'm not a pastor, counsellor, therapist or psychologist. I'm just a regular person who has lived a bit. I've been a Christian since I was five years old, raised in a Christian family in difficult conditions, and was a missionary in Romania for three years following University.

The current Coronavirus crisis has deepened my belief that mental health is more important than ever before. I've heard stories of how deeply people are struggling with this issue. I'm not an expert in any way, but I am convinced that the Bible has something to say to us. There are ancient Truths there that can help us with the situation we are facing.

I don't claim to know why this has happened or when it will end. However. I am utterly convinced that God can lead us through this if we trust in Him.

I'm sharing these messages simply as means of encouragement at a time when we all need it. They aren't shared from a position of deep or special knowledge or expertise. As the Sri Lankan pastor DT Niles famously put it, this is just one beggar telling another beggar where to find bread.

Considering what God has to say to His word has helped me a lot during these trying times. I hope these short meditations provide you with the same encouragement.

God bless!
